It kinda seems a shame that this tribe is all about accents, but you can't hear them on here.

How about one of us guys posting a recording of ourselves each week, and open the way to some "hot or not", is-this-an-adorable-accent discussion? I guess it's too much for the lads to hope that the ladies'll be inflating our egos over this, but it could make for some amusing "wha' wa' tha'?" discussions.

I think I have a copy of my voicemail message in MP3 around here somewhere, but I was thinking along the lines of reading your favourite poem or a page or so from a novel, or something like that.

Ideally I think it'd be cool if submissions were posted anonymously [1] so that you're blind-judged just on your accent... no chance of your photo affecting the comments... and so that a bit of tension is created towards the end of the week when the speaker is revealed.

What do y'all think? And volunteers? Any suggestions? What kinda content would you like to hear for a 2 - 5 minute voice check?
